Throughout his long career as a learning consultant, Mike Haykin has worked with children—adolescents and young adults—to discover their talents and strengths, so they can find their unique place in the world. Sounds simple, but it’s not. A young person’s development and growth can be stymied by any number of factors, ranging from learning styles and learning disabilities to mental illnesses and substance abuse issues.
