My beautiful backyard is in the Telemark wilderness, where I could simply walk out my front door with no plans or thoughts for what I was about to do, and within seconds I am immersed in the lustrous green or snowy white world of nature in which I live. Walking, singing, sitting and thinking, drinking in the fresh air and the great aromas, or maybe making a rock figure here and there. I hardly ever lack for another person with all the wildlife and the generous gifts of nature around is balsam for my soul. I’m thinking that perhaps I should make one of my short films with photos, video clips and some music about that homestead, and maybe I will. 
Ed Murphy, who proudly hails from Yonkers, has had a long and storied career in the music industry. Some of his accomplishments include being the Production Manager and Booking Manager for the Notodden Blues Festival, the Back Stage Manager for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies at 1994 Winter Olympics, the Director of Operations and Director of Events at Oslo Spektrum, and Tour Manager and Production Manager at Gunnar Eide International Concert Impresario. Ed is a lifelong music aficionado and has worked with some of the world’s most renowned musical talent. Today he lives in Sandefjord, Norway.
